Dr Michelle Maddux received her doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) and her B.Sc. in Business Management from University of Phoenix. She has completed additional training in integrative and functional medicine, laboratory medicine, eating disorders, meditation, yoga, and mindfulness. She is the Founder and CEO of Soaring Phoenix, a consulting firm delivering clinical and operations expertise in the integrative and functional medicine field. Dr Maddux is passionate about changing the paradigm of medicine and believes education is the key to making that happen.
She grew up surrounded by alternative medicine and after struggling with endometriosis, anorexia and infertility, decided to begin the journey to become a healthcare practitioner herself. When she discovered Naturopathic Medicine, Dr Maddux knew she had found the path she was meant to be on.
Dr. Maddux lives in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. She loves reading, baking, crafting, Dr. Who marathons, and humming the theme song to any of the many versions of Pokemon because she secretly doesn’t mind being the only female in a house with her two young boys, husband and three dogs.
